The Final Girl Self-Help Club
A downloadable game
Final girl. The term describes the one who confronted the killer and lived to tell the tale. All final girls carry scars—both seen and unseen—from the massacres that took away their loved ones. Every month, these four final girls gather for their club meeting, sharing their fears, supporting each other, remembering their lost ones, and celebrating life. This month, however, something is different.
A new killer has emerged, one who is determined to claim the crown of the ultimate killer by ending all final girls once and for all.
The Final Girl Self-Help Club is a solo journaling game where, instead of following the story of a single character, you use a standard deck of cards to guide and direct the narrative, exploring the stories of each Final Girl. This is not just a game of survival and horror but a story of courage, friendship, and solidarity.
If slasher/final girl is your jam, check out a Thousand Year Old Vampire style solo journaling game Lake Horror, a game that my friend idrilestone and I created.
Game 7 for Shit Or Get Off the Pot: A Solo Game Jam
This game used the quick theme generator and got the result: playing cards, what doesn't kill you makes you...?, and community.
Check out Laboratory [Redacted], Medieval Anxiety, Reincarnated as the Unlovable Villainess?!, Memoria, TTRPG Nightmare Simulator, The Last Doctor, This Ending Sucks So I Am Going to Write A Fanfic, Welcome to the Dungeon, and You’ve Killed A Man for the same Jam.

Wow, the rules are really cool! I can already see myself writing a fanfiction of thriller genre using this rulebook to get the heart thumping experience even for the writer. Thank you so much for sharing!
Aw, thank you so much for the comment. I'd love to read any work that uses my game in anyways. It's always really fun to see how everyone uses the rules as inspiration. Thanks again!
